This is Kirby. She is the one that started it all. Getting a duck started as a joke, and my husband is so awesome, he got me one, even against his wishes.

This is Sammy, Kirby's companion. They were both girls. Sammy would lay down when you walked up to her and let you pick her up. She got attacked by something once and I had to take her to the vet, and she just stood there on the table letting them poke her.

Kirby could fly and she would fly around the neighborhood, landing in peoples' yards. I finally decided to clip her.

This is Kirby as a baby. She was SO cute! We were told she was going to be a male though...oh well. She was so cool.

Look! Chloe has always been "interested" in ducks.

Kirby was lonely, so that's when we decided to get Sammy. This was the day we brought Sammy home.

Kirby was a weird duck. She disappeared the day after Christmas 2004. We think she got out of the yard and something got her because we found one of her eggs outside the fence.

This is Pickles as a baby. I know it's fuzzy, but you can see where the babies now got their yellow chests from! See her little black legs??

This was Pickles at a few weeks old.

This is Dill, who never really had a chance. Dill got attacked by an owl or something when we decided to put her outside. I felt terrible...that's why all the babies are inside now.
I don't have any pictures of Chester when he was a baby, but Chester looked almost identical to Dill when we first got him.
